I was required to draw three words (N, O, A) on a line. We were free to use any typeface. The pictures below are showing how I created the font for n, o, a.

I sketched the space of 'n'. That I wouldn't omit any detail from 'n'.

I drew the outline of the 'n'. Also, I have created the joins with the 'n'.

Then I followed the draft to create the 'n' on FontForge.

There are two kind of points on the 'n', the points assist to create the font in FontForge.
